Job description
Fort d’un effectif de 300 personnes, Magellium Artal Group, rassemblement de deux PME toulousaines (Magellium et Artal Technologies), se positionne aujourd’hui comme un acteur reconnu dans des domaines techniques et industriels pointus (Aéronautique, Spatial, Géo-information et Traitement de l’image).
Elle intervient sur le cycle de développement de logiciels et de systèmes sols complexes pour les secteurs du spatial, du contrôle aérien, de la défense et de la météo.
The position
Pour le compte d’un acteur majeur du spatial, nous développons des composants logiciels de segment sol de satellites d’observation de la terre. Notre équipe projet composé d’aujourd’hui 8 personnes intervient sur des thématiques techniques et métiers pour le compte de plusieurs programmes. Nous intervenons principalement sur les briques de traitement permettant la production d’image haute résolution.
Dans ce cadre, nous recherchons un ingénieur logiciel Python H/F pour intégrer notre équipe et participer aux futurs développements.
Vous serez amené à :
· Développer de nouvelles fonctionnalités principalement en langage Python
· Analyser et corriger des faits techniques remontés par notre client
· Réaliser des tests unitaires
· Coordonner vos activités avec celle de l’équipe
· Participer à des Workshops permettant de spécifier les besoins
· Participer aux phases d’estimation de charge
· Rédiger la documentation pour les travaux réalisés.
L’équipe est organisée en Agile et les développements se cadencent suivant un processus d’intégration continue.

Profile required
Issu(e) d’une formation ingénieur/Bac +5, vous justifiez d’une expérience minimum de 3 ans en informatique.
Une excellente connaissance du langage Python ainsi que de l’environnement Linux est indispensable à l’exercice de cette fonction.
Une expérience dans le domaine des segments sols d’observation et en traitement d’image est un plus.
Une connaissance d’un langage tel que le C++ ou le JAVA est un plus.
Vous avez la volonté de monter en compétences dans le domaine de l’observation de la Terre et vous faites preuve de rigueur et d’autonomie.

Do you hire trainees?
Yes, we hire end-of-study internships. These internships can then develop into permanent contracts (50% of internships transformed into permanent contracts by 2023).
Do you take on work-study students?
We can take on work-study students subject to availability of places and the company/school rhythm, as some projects are not always compatible with a work-study rhythm.

How long is the trial period for an engineer?
The trial period is 4 months. This period may be renewed in certain situations, but not systematically.
Will I be provided with a work computer?
Yes, when you arrive you'll be provided with a workstation complete with monitor, PC, keyboard and mouse. Office supplies will also be at your disposal.
Is remote work possible?
Our company agreement provides for the possibility of remote work up to 2 days a week. Remote working is possible as soon as the trial period has been validated and provided the project allows it (for example, this is not the case for defense projects for reasons of confidentiality).
